On day 5 of her life (apparently Saturday counts as day 0, according to the nurses), Evelyn seems to be doing pretty well. She's still under the lights, but she's starting to be a bit more alert and she's starting to do pretty well nursing--I was able to nurse her four times today (up from previous days) and hopefully things will continue to build from here. No word yet on when we can think about taking her home, but things seem to be good so far.
