Progress

Miss Evelyn is making some positive progress, we're glad to report. She's slowly increasing the amount she eats when she nurses, although we still struggle with her being sleepy. This morning she actually drank 43 ml of milk--almost a full feeding (48 ml), and good enough that the nurse didn't have to supplement with milk in her tube. That was pretty encouraging. Of course, after that she was exhausted, and the next time I fed her she only managed 11 ml, but overall, her capacity seems to be improving. She's still a little jaundiced, so they put her back under the flourescent lights, but hopefully she'll be off the lights for good within a day or two. We'll let you know when we have anything new to report!
