I don't have much to write about this week--we've been busy taking care of the baby and the older kids took off for another visit to grandma a few days ago. I'm sure they'll have plenty to say when they get back.
In the meantime, I'm grateful for:
rain (we've desperately needed it)
supportive friends and family (so many people have offered to help us)
my husband, who still loves me even when I'm crazy on postpartum hormones
my kids, who bring me great joy
a baby who's starting to figure out this whole nursing thing. Each child I've had, I've been amazed at how this tiny bundle of cells can make me feel such intense protectiveness.
Things have been rough recently--but we have also been richly blessed.
